Anago of Western PA Franchise Owners Receive their Annual Healthcare Cleaning Compliance
Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA – April 23, 2012 – The Anago of Western PA Monthly Franchise Owner’s Meeting for April 2012 provided Anago of Western PA Unit Franchise Owners with the opportunity to refresh their annual Healthcare Cleaning Compliance Certification.
To best accommodate Franchise Owners’ busy schedules, they could choose between attending the meeting either on Saturday April 21 or Monday April 23. The event was promoted for two months prior to the meeting and Franchise Owners’ were encouraged to bring their employees.
The course was conducted by David Ross and Bill Ross, both of whom have extensive theoretical and practical experience in the specifics of cleaning in healthcare environments. The following topics were covered at this years course: Understanding and Administering the Anago Exposure Control Plan, Universal Precautions, Bloodborne Pathogens, The Anago Hepatitis b Vaccination Program, Personal Protective Equipment, HIPAA Handbook For Healthcare Service Personnel, OSHA Hazard Reporting, Labeling, and MSDS Requirements, Proper Protocol When Cleaning and Disinfecting, Dwell Times, The Benefits of Microfiber, Cleaning the Exam Room, High Touch Areas for Disinfection, Breaking the Chain of Infection, Understanding Chemical Dilution, and Proper Hand Washing Technique.

The meetings were held on Saturday April 21, 2012 and Monday, April 23, 2012. Both meetings were held from 11:00am to 1:00pm at the Anago of Western PA Regional Support Office (300 Old Pond Road, Suite 202, Pittsburgh, PA 15017). A pizza lunch was provided following the meeting, compliments of Anago of Western PA.
